Who Lives in DLF Camellias Gurgaon? The Buyers and Prices on Record
DLF Camellias, which DLF calls The Camellias, is a complex of 429 homes in DLF5 Golf Links, Sector 42, on Golf Course Road in Gurugram. DLF says its flats look over the DLF Golf and Country Club. No one publishes a list of the people who live there. The record holds only the purchases that newspapers have reported, most of them read from registration papers by property-data firms. This page lists those buyers, with the date, size and price reported for each, and what the prices show.
A correction. An earlier version of this page named fifteen people as residents or owners. This version names only buyers whose purchase a newspaper reported, with a date and a price. Several figures were wrong too. The Lenskart founder's flat was reported at 7,461 sq ft and ₹27.02 crore, not the size and price the page gave. For the Zomato co-founder the page showed an estimated value of nearly three times the ₹52.3 crore he paid, and for the UK buyer it added a price in pounds that matches no report. The ₹190 crore penthouse was not India's costliest home deal; flats in Mumbai have sold for more. The price table, rents, maintenance charges, building claims and remarks about celebrities had no source and are gone.
A purchase does not prove that the buyer lives in the flat, and some of the buyers are companies. Read the list as who has bought here, as reported.

Buyers named in news reports
Each of these purchases was reported by a newspaper, most of them from registration documents that the data firms CRE Matrix, Zapkey or IndexTap said they had seen. Dates and figures are as reported.
- Deepinder Goyal, co-founder of Zomato: 10,813 sq ft for ₹52.3 crore, bought in August 2022 and registered on 17 March 2025, with stamp duty of ₹3.66 crore (Business Standard, July 2025).
- Peyush Bansal, founder of Lenskart: 7,461 sq ft for ₹27.02 crore, bought in August 2022 and registered on 29 April 2024, with stamp duty of ₹1.89 crore. Business Standard named him among the buyers in May 2024; the figures are CRE Matrix's reading of the registration, as Housing.com reported it.
- Deep Kalra, founder of MakeMyTrip: 7,430 sq ft for ₹46.25 crore, booked in June 2023 and registered on 4 March 2024, with stamp duty of ₹2.77 crore (Business Standard, May 2024).
- Info-x Software Technology, a Gurugram software company, with its director Rishi Parti signing: a 16,290 sq ft penthouse for ₹190 crore, registered in December 2024 (The Tribune; PTI). It is the highest price reported for a flat here.
- Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, a UK businessman: 11,416 sq ft for ₹100 crore (Business Standard, August 2025).
- Pioneer Urban Land and Infrastructure, a property company: 9,419 sq ft for ₹95 crore, registered on 29 September 2025, with stamp duty of ₹6.65 crore (PTI, November 2025).
- Ajit Jain, vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway: about 7,400 sq ft for about ₹85 crore (The Economic Times, February 2026, as Storyboard18 reported it). The report gave no registration details.

Why the prices differ so much
The price depends on when it was agreed. Flats bought between 2015 and 2022 went for about ₹36,000 to ₹48,000 per sq ft. The deals reported from December 2024 on ran from about ₹87,600 to ₹1,16,600.
A deal is also often reported years after it was made, when the sale deed is finally registered. Goyal's flat, bought in 2022, was registered in 2025. So a headline total can mix old prices with new ones. Business Standard's "₹270 cr in 30 days", for September 2025, adds two penthouses bought from DLF in 2015 and 2021, at the prices of those years, to two resales at 2025 prices.
What the stamp duty shows
Haryana charges stamp duty of 7 per cent of a property's value in urban areas, or 5 per cent when the buyer is a woman. The reported figures fit: the companies and the men buying alone paid 7 per cent, the woman buying alone paid 5 per cent, and the joint buyers paid 6 per cent. At these prices the gap is large. Names we left out
Lifestyle websites, property blogs and this page before listed other founders and executives as Camellias residents, among them other judges of the TV show Shark Tank India. We found no newspaper report of a purchase by them, so we do not name them. A report with a date and a price is what it would take to add one.
