Prozo has launched its largest multi-client fulfilment center in Gurugram, Haryana to expand the reach of its logistics operations in North India. Spanning 1.5 lakh sq ft at the Horizon Industrial Parks, the new centre further extends capacity for their pan-India network of over 50 fulfilment centres. The hub is intended to serve enterprise, retail and direct-to-consumer customers via state-of-the-art material handling systems and integrated technology tools. The move is in line with Prozo’s continued emphasis on technology enabled logistics and scalable infrastructure.
Prozo has operationalized its largest multi-client fulfilment hub in Gurugram Haryana, serving as a significant addition to warehousing and logistics network. The new warehouse, being spread across 1.5 lakh sq ft area, is situated at Horizon Industrial Parks which is done key logistics zone in close proximity to large consumption markets in the National Capital Region. This centre will be the firm’s sixth multi-client fulfilment centre in Haryana.
With this addition, the company’s nationwide network reach over 50 fulfilment centres with close to 3 million sq ft space coverage. The Gurugram hub is built to handle large, diverse order volumes across channels and cater to the needs of enterprise clients, organised retail players and direct-to-consumer brands. The building is fitted with conveyor systems, chutes and the latest material-handling technology for faster and more accurate orders.
The fulfilment centre is plugged into Prozo’s inhouse warehouse management systems, real-time inventory visibility tools and automated reporting platforms. The systems are suppose to help manage reliable service levels, while providing restricted visibility inbound, storage and outbound activities. Our investment in SLA intelligence and technology-driven logistics execution has been one of the focal points over the last year, we wanted to get this new facility integrated with these capabilities from day one.
The Gurugram hub, as per the company’s officials is designed with conducive scale and control operative across a wide range of client needs. The facility reinforces Prozo’s deep operational capacity to handle high turnover and complicated fulfilment requirements, especially in fast-moving consumer categories. The release also follows previous expansion in the region – Prozo commissioned a smaller multi-client hub in Gurugram last year.
