L&T takes an order to build 7 residential towers for Oberoi Realty in Gurugram
L&T’s Buildings & Factories vertical is executing the order for constructing 7 high-rise residential towers in Gurugram, for which it has bagged an order from Oberoi Realty.
New Delhi: Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Thursday said it has won a contract from Oberoi Realty for providing engineering, procurement on a lump sum basis, which includes the construction of seven high-rise residential towers in Gurugram.
L&T secured the project through its buildings and factories business vertical, the company said in a filing to BSE.
In addition, many more orders have been secured for the vertical in the domestic market including a project to construct proving ground (testing place) from an international company in Haryana.
The facility will enhance vehicle testing infrastructure for latest technology equipped vehicles. The scope, in addition to the proving ground itself, includes finishing works and related external development for the facility.
The company did not disclose the deal size of the orders.
Its buildings and factories vertical has domain knowledge, skill set and experience in providing EPC solutions in segments including hospitals, public spaces, airports, data center, residential buildings and commercial spaces.

The construction work on the project will be carried out by L&T’s Buildings & Factories business vertical. The vertical has previously provided EPC solutions for hospitals, public places, airports, data centers, residential buildings and commercial spaces as well as factories.
In its exchange filing, Larsen and Toubro did not disclose the value of the order.
International client orders work for L&T
Also, Larsen & Toubro’s Buildings & Factories vertical has won an order to build a proving ground for one of the large global companies in Haryana. It was noted that the order also includes finishing works and external development relating to the facility, said by company.

On Thursday, Larsen and Toubro stock traded flat, edging up by about 0.3% in the intra-day trade. The infrastructure firm’s share cost has surged virtually 20% in the previous one month.
