Geographic Highlights
The list is dominated by India, China and Japan, due to large scale Buddhist & Hindu structures built in the last three decades of, to be sure, objectified tourism (which is the basis of the latest list).
India’s Structure Statue of Unity — rises almost half of a meter taller than the “runner-up” structure, making it considerably more massive than the other structures on this list.
In Brazil, they have recently erected “Christ the Protector,” which is taller than the world-famous “Christ the Redeemer.”
