Vedant City, also sold as V.E.T. City (Vedant Economic Township), is a plotted colony advertised by the Aparajit Group in Jhajjar, Haryana, opposite Reliance MET City. Sellers offer plots of 108 to 185 sq yd (about 90 to 155 sq m) with "instant registry". As of 12 October 2026 we found no HRERA registration for it, and no DTCP licence number has been published.
A correction. An earlier version of this page said a RERA number was on its way, called the land "100% legal and government approved", and gave distances to a school, a hospital and a university, one of which is in Gurugram, not Jhajjar. No approval was shown and the distances were not checked. Those claims are gone.

Sellers call it an "NOC zone" project with instant registry and bank loans. An NOC is not a colony licence. A plotted colony in Haryana that is licensed shows a DTCP licence number, and one that is registered shows an HRERA number. Ask for both.
What the rules say
Under section 3 of the RERA Act, a project on more than 500 sq m of land, plotted colonies included, must be registered with the state RERA before it is advertised, booked or sold. A colony of this size would need that registration. The registered projects across the road are Reliance MET City's, by Model Economic Township Ltd.
Before you pay anything
- Ask for the village, khasra numbers and the sale deed draft, and check the owner's name on jamabandi.nic.in.
- Ask for the DTCP licence number and the HRERA number, and check both.
- Ask what "NOC" the seller means, who issued it and for what.
- Check that the bank named for the loan has approved this colony, in writing.
- Pay nothing beyond a small token before you have done these checks.
