Prestige Estates Projects Ltd is a Bengaluru- based, listed real estate developer which has partnered with a landowner to develop a 17-acre housing project in Gurugram with a potential to generate an estimated revenue of 4200 crore.

In a regulatory filing on April 1, the company has indicated that it has acquired a piece of land in Sector 92, Gurugram. It said it has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) on a 17.212-acre piece of land.

The project will be strategically located in Sector 92, Gurugram, adjacent to the Dwarka Expressway and therefore will be in good use of the fact that the area is improving its infrastructure, has better access to the major business districts, and has a rising residential demand, according to the company.

This entry in Gurugram is part of our overall plan of intensifying our presence in major markets like NCR. Although the region is still experiencing a stable demand, we are cautious in our strategy and are targeting areas that have strengthening infrastructure and long-term prospects.
